HOUR 1
Congressman MIKE MCCAUL (R-TX), Chairman of the House Homeland Security Committee, talked about why he thinks the White House reiterating that they don’t want boots on the ground is a bad idea and about a possible ISIS threat here at home. Congressman McCaul explained that boots on the ground is necessary to defeat ISIS even though Muslim nations have offered to send in troops.
New York Post Columnist MICHAEL GOODWIN talked about President Obama and how his ship is sinking. Michael explained that the President has to lead by example and tell the American people that we have to do something we don’t want which is take on terrorists like ISIS. He has given every signal that he is reluctant to do this and the country needs to hear about us leading and making sure we are safe at home.
Former Senior Advisor and Deputy Chief of Staff to President Bush KARL ROVE weighed in on President Obama and explained that he is happy that the president finally admits that ISIS has to be destroyed. He also talked about the mid-term elections and why it looks good for the GOP.
HOUR 2
Fox’s Chief White House Correspondent ED HENRY talked about how the White House has said that they have declined offers of boots on the ground by other Muslim countries to take on ISIS. Ed also said that ISIS wants us to say we are at war with them because they see it as being the big dog on the block. He also believes that President Obama needs to come out more often and talking to the country to let them know what he wants to do.
Over the weekend a wedding picture that was found in the rubble of the 9/11 Trade Center Towers went viral when ELIZABETH KEEFE posted it, as she has every year since the tragedy, and finally found the man it belonged to FRED MAHE, who worked in World Trade Center Tower 2. Fred believes that finding this photo brings hope to everyone in the world who was affected by the tragedy.
HOUR 3
“Special Report” host BRET BAIER told Brian that he believes that we are going to need boots on the ground and have someone to oversee it to coordinate with whoever is leading the airstrikes. On Britain’s non-participation on airstrikes, they have to worry about Scotland voting to break free of the United Kingdom.
Rep. JASON CHAFFETZ (R-UT), Committee on Oversight & Government Reform, talked about how an ex-State Department aide told the Committee that they made sure that documents on Benghazi that showed Hillary in a bad light were not going to be shown to the committee.
