Sharing Opinions On Social Media
An interesting study on people who use social media.
FOX News Radio’s Pam Puso reports:
They’ll post about their vacations or what their kids are doing, but a study finds people who use Facebook and Twitter are less likely than others to share their opinions on controversial issues. The survey by the Pew Research Center and Rutgers University was conducted shortly after Edward Snowden acknowledged leaking classified intelligence. Of the 1,800 people surveyed, 86% said they would talk about it at work or with friends but only 42% of Facebook and Twitter users said they’d be willing to post online about it. The study suggesting social media may encourage self censorship.
