President Obama Green Lights Surveillance Flights Over Syria [VIDEO]
The Pentagon is getting a closer look at ISIS operations in Syria, ahead of potential U.S. airstrikes there.

The U.S. is flying surveillance flights over Syria. President Obama giving the green light, as he weighs expanding airstrikes against ISIS.
(Earnest) “It is the role of the Pentagon, and they will tell you this themselves, for them to develop a wide range of plans to confront a whole range of things.”
White House Press Secretary Josh Earnest says no decision has been made on approving military action inside Syria.
Still, before such an order were given, more intelligence about potential targets is needed.
U.S. airstrikes have targeted ISIS convoys and checkpoints in northern Iraq.
