Securing America: U.S. Response to James Foley’s Murder [VIDEO]
The U.S. response so far to the brutal murder of an American journalist is more air attacks on the killers and more security for Americans in Iraq.

President Obama says the ISIS militants who beheaded reporter James Foley are a cancer on the Mideast, cowards who kill in the name of a religion they do not truly represent.
(President Obama) “Their victims are overwhelmingly Muslim and no faith teaches people to massacre innocents. No just God would stand for what they did yesterday and what they do every single day.”
Speaking in Martha’s Vineyard, Massachusetts, the president said…
(President Obama) “The United States of America will continue to do what we must do to protect our people.”
As the State Department asked the Pentagon to send about 300 more security troops to protect Americans in Baghdad.
The president also said…
(President Obama) “We will continue to confront this hateful terrorism.”
As U.S. airstrikes against ISIS continued, despite the group’s threat to kill another captive American journalist.

U.S. law enforcement officials are hunting for the ISIS militants who killed an American journalist.

There’s a federal open criminal investigation into the brutal, videotaped execution of James Foley. Attorney General Eric Holder says the perpetrators will be held accountable, one way or the other.
(Holder)”We have long memories and our reach is very wide.”
Holder says ISIS purposely targeted Foley.
(Holder)”He was a journalist, and he was symbol of what’s right about the United States.”
The DOJ will use the same controversial law enforcement model that was followed for the Benghazi attacks.
