The fighting continued over the weekend between Hamas and Israel and in an early Monday morning emergency session, the UN Security council called for an immediate and unconditional humanitarian cease-fire in what the Palestinian Ambassador to the UN Riyad Mansour calls…
(Mansour) “The siege against our people in the Gaza Strip.”
With Israel’s Ambassador to the UN Ron Prosor saying Hamas should face greater scrutiny.
(Prosor) “Don’t believe the newspapers that claim that both sides are equally to blame. We did everything we could to avoid this conflict.”

Brief pauses over the weekend, but the fighting continues in Gaza.
FOX News Radio’s Kimberly Adams reports:
The rockets flying between Gaza and Israel paused for about 12 hours as Muslims observed the start of a festival marking the end of the fasting month of Ramadan.
Strikes began again this morning , with the Israeli military saying it hit three Hamas targets in Gaza.
The government says the strike was in response to a Hamas rocket earlier this morning.
More than a thousand Palestinians, mostly civilians, have died so far in this three-week conflict, as well as dozens of Israeli soldiers and a few civilians.
