Basketball’s biggest prize in a talent-laden free-agent class has chosen his destination. LeBron James is joining fellow free agents Dwyane Wade and Chris Bosh on the Miami Heat—putting 3 of the top 5 picks in ’03’s loaded NBA draft on the same team (James was #1, Bosh and Wade were 4 and 5, respectively). With rumors swirling, James announced his decision as part of an hour-long ESPN special Thursday night.
