Oliver Stone To Bring Snowden’s Story To Film
From the director who brought us”JFK” and “Nixon”– Oliver Stone will bring the infamous NSA leaker’s story to the silver screen, along with the help of another big Hollywood player.
FOX News Radio Entertainment Correspondent, Michelle Pollino has the story from Los Angeles:
Stone will write and direct a film about Edward Snowden– one of two high-profile films in the works about the National Security Agency leaker. The film would be an adaption of “The Snowden Files: The Inside Story of the World’s Most Wanted Man”, a book by Guardian journalist Luke Harding. The project puts one of film’s most controversial directors behind the lens of one of the most explosive news events in recent years. But he’s not the only one telling Snowden’s big screen story. Last month, Sony Pictures purchased the rights to Glenn Greenwald’s book. The film is being produced by James Bond producers Barbara Broccoli and Michael G. Wilson.
