FOX In The Fast Lane: NASCAR Heads To Las Vegas
It’s on to sin city for Sunday’s Sprint Cup race– the Kobalt 400. Kurt Busch takes on ‘The Double’ in May and Martin Truex Junior marks a milestone.

Kevin Harvick heads to Las Vegas this weekend, looking for his first win there. So all he can do is:
Harvick: “Hope for the best as we get to Las Vegas.”
Dale Earnhardt Junior wants to get his first win at Las Vegas also– and is grateful for any extra track time, so:
Earnhardt Jr: “Hopefully we can learn what we need to learn rapidly and get up to par so we can win some races.”
It’s going to be a long day in May for Stewart-Haas driver Kurt Busch as he tries to do ‘The Double’ which is:
Busch: “Five hundred miles at Indianapolis and 600 miles in Charlotte on the same day.”
Thanks to a deal with Andretti Autosports, Busch will race at the Indy 500 in the morning and then fly to Charlotte Motor Speedway for the evening Spring Cup race. Only John Andretti, Tony Stewart and Robby Gordon have attempted the grueling 1,100 mile race day– only Tony Stewart has finished both races.
And, Furniture Row Racing’s Martin Truex Jr. will make his 300th career Cup start this Sunday.
