Senate Report: Benghazi Attack Was Preventable
The Benghazi attack could have been prevented, according to a Senate committee report.
FOX News Radio’s Steve Taylor reports from Washington:
Before terrorists attacked the U.S. diplomatic compound in Benghazi, Libya, U.S. officials had warnings about increased terrorist activity and didn’t boost security. That’s the conclusion from the Senate Intelligence Committee.
The chairman, Democratic Senator Dianne Feinstein, says she hopes the report will put any conspiracy theories to rest. But Republican Congressman Jason Chaffetz says…
(Chaffetz) “That attack was preventable. That comes from the Democrats and Republicans in the Senate and that’s what Hillary Clinton’s got to live with.”
Clinton was Secretary of State in 2012 when the attack killed four Americans, including the U.S. Ambassador.
