New developments in the Alex Rodriguez case. Rodriguez has filed a lawsuit against Major League Baseball and the players’ union, in an attempt to overturn a season-long suspension for use of banned substances as imposed by an arbitrator. And a judge has ruled that none of the details of the arbitrator’s ruling will be kept secret.

FOX News Radio’s Hank Weinbloom reports from New York:

A Federal judge here in New York made a rather obvious point that there’s a lot of public interest in the Alex Rodriguez case– and so he ordered that all of the baseball arbitrator’s decision will be made public. Rodriguez and his lawyers are trying to overturn the arbitrator’s 162-game suspension. The hearing comes one day after the owner of a Florida clinic was seen on “60 Minutes” saying he personally injected Rodriguez with banned substances. For A-Rod, the stakes are high. The suspension means he loses $25 million dollars in salary from the Yankees.
