Chicago Gun Sale Ban Ruled Unconstitutional
A Federal judge is shooting down gun laws in Chicago.
FOX News Radio’s Jennifer Keiper explains:
Federal Judge Edmond Chang says the government’s duty is to protect citizens, but also to protect the Constitution and in this case– the right to keep and bear arms. He says Chicago’s gun sales ban is too restrictive– not only covering federally licenced dealers, but also gifts among family members. However, the Judge stayed his ruling. So for now, the ordinances stay in place, while the city decides whether to appeal.
