Actor Peter O’Toole Dies
Actor Peter O’Toole has died.
FOX News Radio’s Steve Rappoport reports:
Peter O’Toole got his start on the British stage…
And became a big star on the big screen, leading the Arab revolt against the Turks in “Lawrence of Arabia”.
(“Lawrence of Arabia”) “So long as the Arabs fight tribe against tribe so long will they be a little people, a silly people.”
That role earning O’Toole the first of a record eight Academy Award nominations, but he failed to win Hollywood’s top prize.
O’Toole, who died over the weekend in London after a long illness, received an honorary Oscar in 2003.
(O’Toole) “Always a bridesmaid, never a bride… My foot.”
Peter O’Toole was 81 years old.
