Boston Red Sox Win World Series
The Boston Red Sox win the 2013 World Series… beating the St. Louis Cardinals in six games.

To think… a year ago this club finished in last place. But the Red Sox remade themselves with players who bought into a team-first formula.

One player did stand out. David Ortiz batted .688 with two homers. He scored twice last night. And he was named the World Series Most Valuable Player.
