Housecall for Health: Bedtime Consistency

Clock

Watch the clock! Consistency is key when it comes to kids’ bedtimes, according to some new research.

FOX News Radio’s Hank Weinbloom explains in this edition of “Housecall for Health”:

Kids who go to bed at the same time every night are better behaved. That’s the conclusion of a British study published in the journal “Pediatrics”. The study looked at children at three ages: 3, 5, and 7 years old. It found that those kids with irregular bedtimes had a far higher rate of behavior problems as noted by both parents and teachers. And the researchers found that if children switch to a set bed-time schedule, their behavior significantly improved.
