Navy Yard Shooting Prompts Security Review

Navy Yard Shooting

The U.S. Defense Chief is launching a wide-ranging security review in the wake of the Washington Navy Yard massacre.

FOX News Radio’s Rich Johnson reports from Washington:

The first directive from Defense Secretary Chuck Hagel:

(Hagel) “A review of physical security and access procedures.”

In other words: How people enter military facilities around the world. Then… A look at the Pentagon’s procedures:

(Hagel) “For granting and renewing security clearances — including those held by contractors.”

Hagel says they owe the victims of the Navy Yard shootings nothing less than to review everything regarding military security.
