Housecall for Health: Early Breast Cancer Detection [VIDEO]

A new test could lead to early breast cancer detection for some.

FOX’s Colleen Cappon reports in this edition of “Housecall for Health”:

A new test can detect breast cancer as soon as a decade before it develops. ForeCYTE uses a pump to collect cells from the breast duct, where most cancers form. Very early changes in the cells can be identified, so patients can take preventative measures. The test doesn’t use radiation, and is ideal for young women with a strong family history. Doctors stress it’s not a substitute for breast exams and mammograms.
