FOX on Tech: New Apple iPhones

Apple unveiled two new iPhones on Tuesday.

FOX News Radio’s Jessica Rosenthal has the details:

Apple typically doesn’t introduce two iPhones at one event, but today they did. The 5S, which will have touch ID so your phone will know you by your fingerprint.

(Schiller)  ”It is the gold standard in smartphones.”

And Apple Vice President of Marketing Tim Schiller says they’ll also have the 5C. It’s made using different material and a less sophisticated chip than the 5S.

(Schiller) “It starts with a large 16-gigabyte configuration at a price of just $99.”

This is so Apple can compete in emerging markets like China – home to the world’s largest mobile phone carrier.
