Police: Australian Student Victim Of Random Killing in OK
Two teenage boys in Oklahoma have been charged with first-degree murder after what police described as a random thrill kill. A third teenager was also charged with being an accessory.
FOX News Radio’s Steve Rappoport reports:
Christopher Lane of Australia attended an Oklahoma college on a baseball scholarship, but his career and life ended Friday with a shot to the back.
The 22-year-old murdered while visiting the town of Duncan, where his girlfriend lives.
(Ford) “There was some people that saw him stagger across the road, go to a kneeling position and collapse.”
Police Chief Daniel Ford says the killing appears to be random. One suspect, reportedly telling authorities they were bored and did it just for fun.
