Justice Department Reviewing Zimmerman Case
An acquittal in Florida doesn’t necessarily mean the end of legal trouble for George Zimmerman, over the shooting death of Trayvon Martin.
FOX News Radio’s Eben Brown reports from Sanford, Florida:
The Department of Justice confirmed over the weekend they have an ongoing investigation into the Trayvon Martin shooting… One being handled by their civil rights division. They say if it looks as if the teenager’s rights were violated, the local federal prosecutors here would take action and George Zimmerman could face another trial.
An FBI probe into the incident, conducted last year as outrage over the local authorities handling of the case grew, concluded Zimmerman had no discernible racist connections.
