Royal Baby Betting

People in Britain are counting down to the arrival of a royal baby, and some have got gambling on their minds.

FOX News Radio’s Simon Owen reports from London:

It’s thought Prince William and wife Kate are due to become parents in mid-July. So to pass the time until then, bookmakers here in England are very much open for business.

(Scott) “The big popular market is names.”

(Scott) “But then we’re also betting on when it’s going to arrive, hair color, sex obviously.”

And if you want to look further into the future, the bookies offering to help with that as well.

(Scott) “What’s going to be the first nightclub that the baby’s seen spilling out of, where they going to go to university, what career are they going to take. You think of it, we’ll bet on it.”

The baby is set to be a future King or Queen of England.
