Disappearing Amphibians

It’s apparently getting harder to find some common amphibians.

The government says you probably are. The population of frogs, toads, and salamanders is dropping at the rate of nearly 4% a year. At this rate, the U.S. Geological Survey says in 20 years, they’ll be gone from half the places where they live now.

An international study blames climate change, habitat loss, even lethal fungus. As one government geologist puts it, they just disappear.
