HE’S LEADING FROM BEHIND! Former Secretary of Defense Donald Rumsfeld, author of Rumsfeld’s Rules: Leadership Lessons in Bussiness, Politics, War & Life, weighed in on Benghazi and the style that President Obama choose to handle the attack in. “The Department of State has the responsibility for providing security and if they’re not going to provide it, they shouldn’t have people there,” he said.
Rumsfeld went on to comment on President Obama’s leadership style: “…People in the White House talk about the fact that he tends to lead from behind. It seems to me that a President of the United States has the responsibility to find out what the facts are, communicate the facts to the American people, and not try to support a narrative that simply isn’t true.”
