Louvre Closed By Museum Crime Protest
Criminals have indirectly shut down one of the world’s most famous – and busiest – museums.

Yet the Louvre has a crime problem so bad, according to some workers, they’ve walked off their jobs. The famous Paris museum closed Wednesday as workers protested the problem of pickpockets loitering in its galleries, saying the growing threat is hindering their ability to welcome visitors and protect its collections.
(Museumgoer) “We’re very disappointed because we have bought our tickets in England.”
The Louvre, which claims to be the world’s most visited museum, not giving an exact figure on the number of victims, but it did admit it was a growing issue despite measures taken last year.
