Major Drug Bust Launched in U.S.

    Police Lights

There’s a big drug bust going down around the northeast United States today.

FOX News Radio’s Rich Johnson reports from Washington:

More than 700 law enforcement officers are targeting more than 100 locations in Connecticut,  New York, Massachusetts and Rhode Island, and also in Puerto Rico.

A spokesman for the U.S. Attorney’s Office says it’s all about narcotics trafficking.

Officials tell FOX News, this is a coordinated attack on large-scale heroin and cocaine operations.

And Homeland Security will only say, they’ll have more to say later today.
