An Ohio museum if showing off a rare historical artifact on this Easter Sunday.

FOX News Radio’s Jennifer Keiper reports:

The Cincinnati Museum Center has been showing off 10 Sea Scroll fragments but only recently added a piece to it, the Ten Commandments scroll.

It’s written in Hebrew, on a narrow strip of parchment and is the foundation of Jewish and Christian religions.

But Dave Duszynski, Vice President of Featured Experiences at the museum, says they’ve found this extends beyond religion.

(Duszynski) “It’s a history exhibit and it’s also a science exhibit about the discovery of the scrolls and how they were preserved for 2,000 years in the unique cave environment conditions on the edge of the Dead Sea.”

The Ten Commandments scroll makes rare appearances because of special lighting conditions to keep it preserved. It also comes with tight security.
