CT Teens Charged With Assaulting 13-Yr-Old, Others
UPDATE: Police have announced a third person has been charged in relation to this case.
Charges have been filed in a case involving the alleged sexual assault of a 13-year-old Connecticut girl, who has been bullied following the accusations.
FOX News Radio’s Courtney Kealy reports:
Two Connecticut high school football players – Edgar Gonzalez and Joan Toribio, both 18 – have been charged with felony second-degree sexual assault of a 13-year-old and other charges in at least two separate cases involving different victims.
They have both pleaded not guilty, but details remain scarce.
(Torrington Police Lt. Michael Emanuel) “This is an active and ongoing investigation. There are three sealed arrest warrants, that’s why we can not say much at all.”
But on social media, dozens of students from the Connecticut high school have taunted at least one of the 13-year-old victims, criticizing her for ruining the lives of the football players.
