Deadly Detroit Freeway Pileup

Icy roads and poor visibility have led to a deadly multi-vehicle pileup of more than two dozen cars and trucks in Detroit. At least three people are dead and about 20 have been injured.

FOX News Radio’s Jennifer Keiper reports:

Crews are on the scene of a pileup on I-75 in southwest Detroit. David Wilmer is stuck in traffic and can see the accident from where he is.

(Wilmer) “And there was one small compact car that got slammed in between two semis. But right now they’re trying to… I mean there’s diesel fuel and gasoline and everything all over the scene.”

Some people have jumped into Wilmer’s car because their’s has died while waiting in the backup and it’s cold in Detroit today.
