Ohio Early Voting

In the battleground state of Ohio, early, in-person voting is underway. So are voters enthusiastic? What’s their reason for going to the polls to cast their ballots, even before the first Presidential debate is held?

Matt Bruning from FOX News Radio affiliate WTVN in Columbus, OH reports:

The economy and social issues the big reasons Don Bryant voted for Mitt Romney.

Bryant: The economy has gone down the tubes. We’re spending money we don’t have. We’re $16 trillion dollars in debt, and borrowing on our kids and that’s just not the way to run anything.”

It’s all about being a part of history for Eric Carter. He didn’t vote four years ago, disgusted with the way the 2004 election played out. This year, he felt he had to.

Carter: “I’m in the process of being a firefighter. So I’m all for the unions. “

Statistics show Democrats are more likely to vote early in person. While Republicans tend to mail in their ballots ahead of election day.
