Bonnie & Clyde Guns Fetch Over $500,000
The guns that were found on notorious gangsters when they were ambushed and killed have been sold at auction, and they went for anything but a steal.

It was history that went under the hammer: the pistols that outlaws Bonnie Parker and Clyde Barrow were carrying when they died in a hail of bullets in 1934.
(“Bonnie & Clyde”) “This here is Miss Bonnie Parker, I’m Clyde Barrow. We rob banks.”
Sold is the Colt .38 that Parker had pasted to her inner thigh with medical tape and the .45 that Barrow kept in his waistband. The pair went for more than half a million dollars. The same buyer bought both and wants to remain anonymous.
Also on the block: a gold pocket watch found on Barrow’s body, selling for $36,000, and one of Bonnie’s silk stockings, which went for $11,000.
