FOX News Radio’s Chris Foster reports in this Election Update:
From America’s Election Headquarters…
The candidates, campaigning in Ohio. Mitt Romney, in Bedford Heights, saying he’d go after China.
(Romney) “They’ve artificially held down the value of their currency, and by doing that, the prices of their products are artificially low. And when their prices are low, and then they compete with our manufacturers, our guys go out of business and people lose jobs.”
President Obama says his Administration is already winning trade cases.
(President Obama) “We stood up for auto workers against unfair trade practices. When Gov. Romney said stopping an unfair surge in Chinese tires would be bad for America, bad for our workers, we politely declined his advice.”
The President, at Bowling Green State University.
