Tutu: Bush, Blair Should Face Trial Over Iraq War
A new call has gone out to take George W. Bush and Tony Blair to court over the War in Iraq.
FOX News Radio’s Kerin McCue reports:
Archbishop Desmond Tutu says former President George W. Bush and former British Prime Minister Tony Blair should be hauled before the International Criminal Court in the Hague for their role in bringing on the 2003 invasion of Iraq.
In an op-ed in ‘The Observer’, the South African says the conflict “has destabilized and polarized the world to a greater extent than any other conflict in history”. Tutu, a Nobel Peace Prize winner, has been a staunch critic of the war from the start.
In a response, Tony Blair accused the Anglican cleric of repeating inaccurate criticisms of the war.
