FOX in the Fast Lane: Irwin Tools Night Race (Bristol)
NASCAR is turning on the lights at Bristol this weekend for the Irwin Tools Night Race, where Paul Menard will be missing his usual crew chief. All this happens as yet another Earnhardt sets his sights on a NASCAR career.

Martin Truex, Jr. is not concerned that changes made to the upper banking at Bristol will change where he’ll end up on the track.
(Truex, Jr.) “Guys seem to run the middle of the race track most of the race, and we were able to run the middle, so I don’t really think it’s going to be a whole lot different.”
For Carl Edwards:
(Edwards) “Any changes, any chance to get ahead on strategy, or for a new race track or you know, new style setups, any of that stuff helps us right now.”
And for Brad Keselowski:
(Keselowski) “I know there’s changes done to the track. I don’t see that changing the performance of our car.”
Twenty-four-year-old Bobby Dale Earnhardt, the late Dale Earnhardt’s grandson, is training on dirt tracks in West Virginia, hoping to work his way up into the NASCAR series one day.
And NASCAR fines driver Paul Menard’s crew chief $100,000 and suspends him until October 3rd for illegal modifications found on his car last weekend at Michigan. Menard and owner Richard Childress, each docked 25 points.
