Brig. Gen. (Ret.) E. John Teichert Discusses Faith, National Security, and Crypto Policy

Retired U.S. Air Force Brig. Gen. E. John “Dragon” Teichert joined The Guy Benson Show to discuss his new book, In God I Trust: Making Our National Motto My Personal Declaration, along with pressing national security issues.

Teichert reflected on America’s 250th anniversary, arguing that faith in God has been central to the nation’s founding and remains relevant today. He also shared his perspective on the conflict with Iran, highlighting the strategic importance of Kharg Island and its role in funding the Iranian regime.

The conversation also focused on cryptocurrency regulation, with Teichert expressing concerns that the proposed CLARITY Act contains loopholes that could allow hostile nations and criminal organizations to evade U.S. sanctions. He urged lawmakers to strengthen the legislation before moving it forward.

Teichert concluded by discussing the growing challenge posed by China, emphasizing the need for strong military capabilities, technological leadership, and national resolve to deter future threats.
