Housecall for Health: Craving Junk From a Young Age
Craving something sweet right now? Some new research suggests a need for a little junk food could be something people are born with, and can blame their mother for.
FOX’s Colleen Cappon reports in today’s “Housecall for Health”:
New research suggests we may begin craving junk food before we’re even born.
A study from the University of South Australia found that when pregnant rats ate a fatty, processed diet, their offspring were more likely to crave junk food. They also became obese easier than offspring from healthy mothers who ate a balanced diet.
Study authors say the research has implications for humans.
