FL Mom Kills Her Four Kids, Turns Gun on Herself

A disturbing morning discovery in Florida: kids shot and asking for help, before their mother calls them back inside and finishes the job she started.  Now, all five – including the mother – are dead.

FOX News Radio’s Jeff Monosso has details:

The Brevard County Sheriff’s Department says neighbors in Port St. John were awakened to gunshots and then a knock at the door.

(Tod Goodyear) “Upon going to the door and opening it, they found three children who reside at that residence next door, and the children advised – and did appear – that they had been shot.”

But they tell us that 33-year-old Tonya Thomas called the children back inside their home, where she fired the fatal rounds, and then killed herself.  Thomas and her four children, ages 12-to-17, all dead, and no one right now knows why.
