Griff shared the following anecdote on Biden’s mental decline on the show today:

“I was the weekend White House reporter and it was the day and I think it’s happened a couple of times, but it was definitely the first time this happened and it was caught, you know, when the president would come or leave. They always send up, you know, a little group of reporters, a camera, still photographer or a video guy and maybe a reporter team during the weekends. Like one person stands there, shout a question or two. Maybe he talks, maybe he didn’t. So he gets off. And when the president gets off of Marine One, he can either go directly to the Oval Office or can go into kind of the residence or a couple of different entrances. He could go in. He was going this time in the residence and it’s at the far end of the of the grounds there in the South Lawn and beyond the the entrance is just the grass and the woods injuries. And it was the you maybe remember the viral moment. He walks down the sidewalk, past the security guy into the grass, headed towards the trees. And at that moment, we had a question or two and ignored me and kept going. But he walked past the secure the Secret Service guy. I just remember connecting eyes with the Secret Service guy who had this, like, blank stare, eyes wide open. Look. I mean, like, what is he doing now? He doubled back on the grass and walked back under the columns in the right door. But I turned to the print reporter. I said, Did did you see that? Was that normal? And he said, I don’t know are you gonna report on Fox News? I’m like, I’m not sure. Maybe you should put it out on the wires first and I’ll follow your lead. Because we weren’t we weren’t sure what that was. Was it a simple mistake or did he really not realize he just walked right off the sidewalk into the woods? And that was really obviously what was becoming more and more apparent to to the American public, which culminated, of course, in that June debate with Donald Trump. And I think, you know, one of the things that the history books will not be kind to people like Jean Pierre and others at the White House to include Vice President Kamala Harris.”
