Host of the “Kennedy Saves The World” podcast Kennedy joins Fox Across America With Jimmy Failla to give her take on the results of the 2024 presidential election.
“My worry was last week and early this week, she was gaining traction because Trump didn’t have a great week. He had a great three weeks before that. I mean, it was fantastic. He was hitting every mark you would want to as a presidential candidate. He almost peaked too soon. And he had a number of peaks throughout the campaign, obviously, But she didn’t screw up in the end. And that was enough where I was like, that’s it. She’s got the momentum. And then all of these polls came in. The race is tightening. It’s a dead heat. New York Times, CBS, CNN, Emerson all had the race tied and half of the polls had her up by as much as six points. And I’m like, my God, she’s going to win this thing. And, you know, it’s like the side of me that has teenage daughters. Of course, I want a woman to be president, and I would like it to happen fairly quickly for them, for the country, but not with her. There was something about her I could never get on board. She’s been wrong on every issue. And her candidacy made me so mad and so resentful on so many levels. And I don’t like feeling like that. Like, I don’t like getting worked up by politicians. And I don’t think anyone should get emotionally invested in politicians. So the fact that this is the outcome and you called it, it feels like there is some sense of justice in the world. And the first woman who will be president will deserve it.”
