Al Qaeda Releases Video of American Hostage
An American hostage pleads for his life in a new al Qaeda video online.
FOX News Radio’s Jared Halpern reports from Washington:
American aide worker Warren Weinstein first speaks to his wife in the two minute video released by his terrorist captors.
(Weinstein) “I’m fine. I’m well. I’m getting all my medications.”
The 70-year-old Maryland man then speaks directly to President Obama.
(Weinstein) “Please accept and respond to the demands of the Mujhadin. My life is in your hands, Mr. President.”
Weinstien was abducted last August from his home in Lahore, Pakistan. Al Qaeda leader Ayman al Zawahiri said Weinstein would be released if the U.S. stopped airstrikes in Afghanistan, Pakistan and Yemen.
