Founder and Executive Director of Power The Future Daniel Turner joins Fox Across America With Jimmy Failla to explain why he believes the impact energy policies have on U.S. national security is a topic that should have received a lot more attention during last month’s debate between Vice President Harris and former President Trump.

“This is the problem with having debates. We only had one presidential, if you include the Biden one, two presidential. This is the problem with 90 minute debates that try to cover everything under the sun because energy should have been its own debate, in its own category. We haven’t talked about the fact, you know, who did this the best was JD Vance. We haven’t talked about the fact that energy policies made Iran very, very rich. And when they have a lot of money, they bomb Israel. Our energy policies make Russia very, very rich. And when they have a lot of money, they build an army and invade Ukraine. I mean, that’s a that’s a conversation to extrapolate and debate and argue. And Tim Walz and Kamala Harris, tell me why I’m wrong, that your energy policies didn’t enrich America’s enemies. And I will have that debate. But we never got to it. You know, we spent half the debate talking about abortion and the other half talking about, you know, sexy, titillating topics that make buzz and get headlines. But quite frankly, you know, people are dying around the world because of bad energy policies. And it didn’t get the light of day.”

Jimmy and Daniel also talk about the climate-related regulations officials in California are trying to enact in anticipation of a second Trump presidency. Listen to the podcast to hear what else they discussed!
