ORDINARY HEROES: Sean Lee of Save Our Allies Joins the Guy Benson Show, Discusses Relief Efforts in North Carolina

Today on the Guy Benson Show, we welcomed Sean Lee to the program. Sean, ground team commander for Save Our Allies and 22 year US Army veteran, joined the Guy Benson Show today to discuss the ongoing efforts on the ground to recover from Hurricane Helene in North Carolina. Sean’s organization, Save Our Allies, has turned their focus from rescuing American citizens and their allies from dangerous situations to aiding those stranded because of the devastation brought by Hurricane Helene. Sean and his team are filling holes where the government is absent, as he says that there is a noticeable lack of FEMA on the ground in North Carolina. Sean detailed how communities and NGOs like his own are rallying to help those in need. You can visit and support the organization at saveourallies.org, and you can listen to the full interview below.

Lee had this to say on the response from the government on Hurricane Helene:

“FEMA is here, I guess. But nobody… People ask me every day where FEMA is right now. It’s the community, the community of North Carolina, the community of helpers who are here on the ground making a difference every day to try to keep these people alive until there is a bigger response. We hit communities every day that are just devastated. And I keep using that word because I can’t find another word.”
