Former House Speaker Kevin McCarthy’s Work Isn’t Done Yet

Many Americans watched in surprise as former Republican House Speaker Kevin McCarthy was ousted from his position last October — becoming the first speaker in history to be ousted after eight members of his own party joined forces with Democrats to remove him from his position. They also discuss how Hurricane Helene has devastated communities in the Southeast, including Trey’s, and send their thoughts and prayers to those who have been impacted.
