Florida Republican Congressman Byron Donalds joins Fox Across America With Jimmy Failla to give his take on former President Trump’s hush money trial in New York City, which got underway on Monday.
“Hopefully there are just good people, and I believe there are good people on the island of Manhattan, who are going to see this for what it is, is pure politics and foolishness, and they’re going to basically kick this thing and vote not guilty. Because there’s no underlying crime. I don’t even know what the DA is going to say because they didn’t put it in the indictment. I wish they would share that with the American people. And if they won’t share it with the American people, that means that they’re trying to sandbag, Donald Trump, which is a violation of his rights as a defendant under law. Like this nuts what’s happening here. Now, you couple that with the fact that, you know, six months from an election. And Alvin Bragg and Jack Smith and Fannie down there in Georgia, they all want to do this mess. This is a joke and I think the American people see right through it.”
Jimmy and Rep. Donalds also talk about the numerous pro-Palestinian demonstrations that took place in major cities across the U.S. on Monday. Listen to the podcast to hear the full interview!
