Former IMF Chief Strauss-Kahn Facing Prostitution Charges
The former head of the International Monetary Fund, after having sex-related charges dropped here in the U.S., is now facing preliminary sex-related charges in his home country.
FOX News Radio’s Lisa Brady reports:
After several hours of questioning by investigative judges, Dominique Strauss-Kahn was accused of involvement with a French prostitution ring, hit with preliminary charges and freed on bail while the investigation continues.
His attorney denies wrongdoing, says Strauss-Kahn did not knowing associate with any prostitutes, and that it’s wrong to prosecute him for “simple Libertine activity.” Strauss-Kahn resigned as head of the IMF after a New York hotel maid accused him of sexual assault, a case later dropped by prosecutors.
