Retired Army Special Forces officer Thomas Ludwig joins Fox Across America With Jimmy Failla to explain why he’s running for Congress as a Republican in New York’s 3rd District, which is currently represented by George Santos.
“So as a candidate, like the governing leadership part, I got it. I’m the best one there. But the campaign, I don’t really know what I’m doing, so I’m figuring it out. And it’s interesting talking to the people because the Army’s, you know, kind of Right wing. And then Harvard was very Left. So I’ve gotten all the arguments, but it’s really learning how Long Islanders and New Yorkers see things because you know, we do have a different perspective. And I do think growing up in Levittown was good, where it’s the definition of middle class. So, you know, you kind of see it all. So it is interesting just to see how everybody views things and how they view the issues. And then, you know, you can just tell some of the information is a little off. But, you know, most people they love this country, and especially in New York, where they just want to be represented. They just want to live their lives and not be held back.”
