Arizona Republican Congressman Andy Biggs joins Fox Across America With Jimmy Failla to explain why he and the seven other GOP lawmakers who voted to oust Kevin McCarthy as House Speaker are optimistic that Louisiana Congressman Mike Johnson will do a better job in the role.

“We’re excited. We think that this is a big upgrade. You know, there’s some mess that’s going on now because Kevin left him the spending mess. Right? He didn’t take care of that. But, you know, Mike is going to have to go in. He’s going to have to clean out all the bird poop from the nest, and then we’re going to be ready to go. But he’s trying to do that now. That’s why he’s running these terrible appropriations bills that the appropriators put out there that spends more money than you can even conceive of. And he’s trying to get them out of the House, getting over to the Senate so we can begin moving on to really the right trajectory, which is to spend less and be more responsible.”
