AEHQ: Going to the Polls in Illinois Tuesday
They’re going to the polls tomorrow in Illinois, having voted yesterday in Puerto Rico’s Presidential primary. But is the GOP any closer to having a nominee?
FOX News Radio’s Jeff Monosso reports from America’s Election Headquarters:
From America’s Election Headquarters…
Rick Santorum tells ABC’s “This Week” that despite the fact he’s being out spent by rival Mitt Romney…
(Santorum) “He hasn’t been able to close the deal, and even come close to closing the deal. That tells you that there’s a real flaw there.”
…and predicts success in Illinois’ primary tomorrow. But Romney leads Santorum and rivals Newt Gingrich and Ron Paul in Illinois polls, and tells FOX News Sunday…
(Romney) “I think the American people want to see someone who has the leadership skill & experience to defeat the President.”
…and that that candidate is him. Romney also leads all rivals in the delegate count: 69 delegates are up for grabs in Illinois tomorrow, 46 in play in Louisiana’s primary on Saturday.
