Housecall for Health: Why Men Are Aggressive

Researchers overseas say they’ve figured out why it is that men react the way they do in certain situations.

FOX’s Colleen Cappon reports in today’s “Housecall for Health”:

Scientists say they found the reason for male’s stereotypically aggressive reactions, and it all comes down to a single gene.  A study from Prince Henry’s Institute in Australia finds that the SRY gene, only found in men, promotes aggression and other “macho” behavior.

Data shows the gene stimulates organs and causes increased blood flow when exposed to stress, causing a fight-or-flight reaction.
