Securing America: American at Guantanamo Pleads Guilty

A former Baltimore resident, Majid Khan, admitted his guilt, telling a military court at Guantanamo Bay, Cuba that he worked directly for al-Qaeda and transferred $50,000 for a car bombing in Jakarta, Indonesia in 2003.

FOX Chief Intelligence Correspondent Catherine Herridge reports from the Navy base in Cuba:

After Majid Khan pled guilty to all of the charges, Pat Pond sat quietly in the military courtroom.   She was severely burned after a car bomb struck the Marriott hotel in Jakarta just 23 months after 9/11.   She described the scene at the Indonesian hospital and the lasting impact.

(Pond) “It was chaos.  They were overwhelmed, I think, by all the injured coming in.  And it turns out they were reusing needles, and I came away with HIV.”

Pond said she felt no anger when she saw Khan for the first time.  He transferred money for the attack.
