Romney Wins AZ & MI Primaries, Santorum 2nd
Mitt Romney is the winner of both the Arizona and Michigan primaries. The Arizona win gives Romney all of the state’s 29 delegates. In Michigan, 30 delegates are handed out based on the winner of individual Congressional districts (two delegates for each of 14 districts, plus two bonus delegates for the overall vote leaders). Some of those Michigan delegates will be going to Rick Santorum, who finished second in both states. Ron Paul finished third in Michigan, fourth in Arizona, splitting places with Newt Gingrich (third in Arizona, fourth in Michigan).
