AEHQ: Mitt Romney in Michigan
Republican presidential candidate Mitt Romney hits Michigan hard ahead of that state’s primary on Tuesday. Romney grew up in Michigan, but polls show a tight race between the former Massachusetts Governor and opponent Rick Santorum.
As FOX News Radio’s Jennifer Keiper reports from Detroit:
From America’s Election Headquarters…
Mitt Romney will speak to the Detroit Economic Club at Ford Field here in Detroit.
This is the same group that Rick Santorum addressed last week. The two have been neck-and-neck in the polls.
Last night Romney talked to Michigan tea party members about President Obama and the failure of solar panel maker Solyndra.
(Romney) “When he chooses one company to put in 500-million government dollars into it all the others lose their chance at getting financing. Who wants to give a couple of million dollars as a venture capitalist to some entrepreneur when you know the government has chosen one to give 500-million to?”
President Obama has released a Michigan TV ad that accuses the GOP candidates of turning against middle class workers by opposing the auto bailouts.
